The numbers are in for last year in 2011 we sent over 35,000 coupons for over $55,000 in savings.
The program has been growing beyond belief and it continues to grow each day, there are many that need help defraying the cost of caring for their beloved pets. This could not have been achieved without wonderful folks.
As the program developes ( and it still is) I included other groups that could be helped by this program.
NOWZAD the canceled stamp program - this program helps rescue dogs, cats donkey's from Afghanistan and Iraq and finds them furever homes in the U.K. and the states.
PetsoftheHomeless This program helps the homeless with food and medical care for the pets. We have become a referral service for help.
Miliatary All the expired coupons go to the miliatary bases so that they can be used at the Exchanges.
The program has been accepted well and with Grace from above it will continue to help those who need a bit of help.
Hopes for the Future:
Applying for nonprofit status, as all expenses come out of my pocket, I could use assistance with the cost of the program. The process is still being processed and it could take a few more months before I get the non-profit status.
I have been developing a program for collecting coupons in schools, senior citizens centers, church groups etc. I will be able to go into schools this year on a regular basis. We are in constant need of "clippers" they are the backbone of this program. Please join and become a clipper. As a "clipper" you are also able to recieve coupons.
I know the programs work, these past months have proved that but there is still a lot to do, and I hope to see the numbers increase in the coming months, the need is there, the word has to be sent out that we are here..........and ready to help feed animals.
